Market Operations Specialist

RULEMATCH AG is a Fintech venture operating a trading venue in the field of digital assets, led by founders with strong industry knowledge and backed by world-leading partners.

The Market Operations department is responsible for the smooth operation of all trading-related processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and support the continuous development of our trading venue, ensuring seamless trading experiences for our participants.
  • Supervise trading activity, maintain daily clearing and settlement processes, and guarantee fair and orderly markets.
  • Monitor our best-in-class matching engine and its peripheral integrations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage projects linked to new business offerings and test upcoming features of the platform, driving innovation and growth.
  • Participate in the technical onboarding process of incoming participants, providing expert support and guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments within RULEMATCH AG, including Compliance, Sales, IT, and Executive Management.
Requirements
  • University degree (Bachelor level) or equivalent education in Business, Finance, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in the financial sector, preferably in trading or middle office functions.
  • Firm interest in digital assets and blockchain developments, with previous professional experience in this sector a plus.
  • Initial experience with electronic trading communication protocols (e.g., FIX, OUCH) or international transaction systems (SWIFT) is a plus.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an affinity for systems and technology.
  • Motivated and responsible personality with a strong team-player attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluency in English; German, French, or other European languages are an advantage.
  • Dedicated to working night shifts, including weekends.
