Market Operations Specialist

RULEMATCH AG is a Fintech venture operating a trading venue in the field of digital assets, led by experienced founders with strong industry knowledge and backed by world-leading partners.

The Market Operations team is responsible for the smooth operation of all trading-related processes, ensuring fair and orderly markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and support the continuous development of our trading venue, leveraging expertise in electronic trading communication protocols and international transaction systems.
  • Supervise the trading activity of our participants, maintaining the daily clearing and settlement process and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor our best-in-class matching engine and its peripheral integrations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
  • Manage projects linked to new business offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Participate in the technical onboarding process of our incoming participants, providing guidance and support to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Collaborate with different departments within RULEMATCH AG, including Compliance, Sales, IT, and Executive Management, to drive business growth and success.
Requirements
  • University degree (Bachelor level) or equal education in Business, Finance, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in the financial sector, preferably in a trading or middle office related function.
  • Firm interest in digital assets and developments in the blockchain space, with previous professional experience in this sector a plus.
  • Initial experience with electronic trading communication protocols (e.g. FIX, OUCH) or international transaction systems (SWIFT) is a plus.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an affinity for systems and a motivated, responsible personality.
  • Fluency in English; German, French, or other European languages are of advantage.
  • Dedicated to work night shifts, including weekends.
