About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to lead our team of mental health professionals at Psychiatrische Dienste Aargau AG. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to our patients and contributing to the development of our psychiatric services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independent Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Provide evidence-based, integrated diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients, with a focus on liaison psychiatry, psychosomatics, stress-related disorders, and ADHD.
  • Case Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and structured case documentation and prepare reports as required.
  • Service Development: Contribute to the development of our psychiatric services, including the creation of new treatment and training programs.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of assistant physicians and psychologists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Collaboration and Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including general practitioners, hospitals, and patient families.
  • Interdisciplinary Reporting: Participate in interdisciplinary reporting and contribute to the development of comprehensive care plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Project Work: Contribute to concept development, work-forces, and projects as directed by management.
Requirements
  • Advanced Training in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy: Hold a specialist degree in psychiatry and psychotherapy or equivalent.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • High Social Competence: Possess excellent social skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Fluency in Multiple Languages: Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset.
  • Interest in Leadership Roles: Show a genuine interest in leadership roles, including supervision and concept development.
