Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sheet Music Project Manager to oversee and coordinate musical projects from start to finish. This includes:
- Selecting the best edition of sheet music after careful comparison with other available editions.
- Collaborating with engraving and proofreading teams to ensure high-quality scores that meet our standards.
- Liaising with recording studios, gathering quotes, and reviewing audio files for quality control.
- Ensuring all files (sheet music and audio) are correctly classified, named, and integrated into our app.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in music theory, instrument knowledge, and teaching experience. Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines are essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Classical training with proficiency in playing multiple instruments at a professional level.
- Perfect understanding of music theory and specific requirements of different instruments.
- Teaching or tutoring experience, with a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by amateur musicians.
- Excellent communication skills, including English fluency, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Technical savviness, with experience using music learning digital platforms and a willingness to learn new software.
