Job DescriptionAs a Global IT Support Specialist

You will be responsible for providing level 2 application support for critical applications. Your tasks will include troubleshooting and maintaining applications to ensure optimal performance and uptime. You will work closely with 3rd-party vendors to gain in-depth knowledge of the client's application environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Incident Management, Service Request Support, and Problem Management tasks
  • Operational Change & Configuration Management, System Administration, and Validation
  • Maintain Knowledge Management, Service Asset & Configuration Management, and contribute to the Continuous Improvement Process
  • Manage Release & Deployment, handle License Management, and engage in Proactive Monitoring of applications
  • Respond to and manage application outages and maintain accurate Application Documentation

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, informatics, or a related field
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within a global IT environment and/or GxP environment
  • Technical overview and understanding of OS, Cloud infrastructure, Databases (SQL queries), Middleware, Network, Storage, and Backup
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of ITSM processes, ITIL certification is a plus
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive process improvements and automation
