We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join our team at the University of Zurich in an exciting ERC-funded project focused on computational psychiatry. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will have the opportunity to take a leading role in a cutting-edge international project, working with a diverse and passionate team in Zurich and collaborating with investigators across three international sites.Salary
A competitive salary of $100,000 - $110,000 USD per year is offered, along with generous social benefits and support for professional travel and research needs.About the Role
The successful candidates will have the chance to conduct analyses of behavioral and imaging data, disseminate study results in peer-reviewed journals, and supervise graduate and undergraduate students. They will also be part of ongoing projects and initiate new research within the team of Prof. Philipp Homan, who is also a group leader.Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you should have a PhD degree in a relevant field including computational linguistics, cognitive neuroscience, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or computer science. You must have a strong track record of first-author publications and preprints, as well as experience in successfully mentoring undergraduate or graduate students. Excellent self-management skills, expertise in neuroimaging and computational linguistics, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Matlab are also essential. Commitment to Open Science and computational reproducibility is required, and excellent verbal and written English skills are necessary for effective communication.Benefits
