About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Team Lead to join our team at Digitec Galaxus AG. As a Data Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of data analysts and engineers, guiding them in their work and contributing to various initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of data analysts and engineers, guiding them in their work and contributing to various initiatives.
  • Help maintain and further develop category management related products, including profitability, provider reporting, and performance programs.
  • Develop the team's hard and soft skills, ensuring motivation, growth, and well-being.
  • Ensure the team's output aligns with the company's strategic objectives and key results.
  • Constant learning and gathering business know-how on category management processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an analytics engineer or data scientist, with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams and familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Experience with ETL, data modelling, data analysis and reporting using BigQuery, Dataform, and Tableau.
  • Expertise in SQL and Python, with a good knowledge of OLAP tools like Cubes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, technical understanding, and ability to handle complex scenarios independently or in a team.
  • Fluent in English and good German (at least B2).
