About the Role

As a Senior IT Manager at HR Talent House SA, you will play a key role in driving our company's IT strategy and transformation initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee project management responsibilities, including handling commercials and risk, managing client relationships, and providing thought leadership in your area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead projects that involve developing IT strategies aimed at performance improvement or value creation plans.
  • Client Relationship Management: Create and maintain strong client relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction throughout the engagement process.
  • Business Development: Manage business development activities, including responding to proposal requests, upselling existing engagements, establishing new relationships, and participating in pursuit meetings to secure new work.
  • Transaction Support: Work on projects covering the entire lifecycle of a transaction, such as technology due diligence, IT carve-out, integration planning, day-1 readiness, and IT exit readiness.
  • Technology Strategy: Link business strategy with technology, defining recommendations, assessing impacts, and creating actionable plans.
  • Practice Development: Lead practice development initiatives to maintain our team's reputation as an exceptional place to work.
  • Team Leadership: Act as a role model for junior team members, guiding their development, and will be involved in recruitment and training efforts.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: You will need applicable industry and/or consulting experience related to transactions, M&A, or IT strategy and transformation projects.
  • Project Management Expertise: A strong track record of successful project delivery in corporate settings is essential, including managing project teams and vendors.
  • Program Management: Demonstrated program and project management expertise, coupled with familiarity with industry standards such as ITIL or TOGAF, is required.
  • Sales and Business Development: Experience in supporting sales and business development processes for professional services projects within a large-scale consulting environment is crucial.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills are needed, along with the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • IT Experience: A broad range of IT experience, including infrastructure, applications, databases, and networks, or a deep understanding of one or more core aspects of a typical IT function.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing, in English and German/French are essential.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree with approximately 10 years of related work experience or a Master's/MBA degree with around 10 years of related experience is required.
  • Travel: The ability and willingness to travel are also important for this role.
