Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sustainable procurement strategies and policies to minimize the environmental impact of CERN's procurement activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement environmentally friendly procurement practices.
- Conduct research and analysis to support the development of sustainable procurement policies and procedures.
- Provide training and awareness programs to suppliers and CERN staff on sustainable procurement practices.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sustainable procurement initiatives.
- Master's degree in Sustainability, Procurement, or a related field, or a PhD in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in sustainable procurement or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to work in French an advantage.
