Senior Consolidation and Financial Reporting Leader

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consolidation and Financial Reporting Leader to join our Group Consolidation Team. This role requires strong expertise in statutory consolidation and accounting under IFRS, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

About the Role
  • Prepare, analyze, and release audited Group financial statements, including review of local data, assistance to local teams, IFRS entries, tax proof, cash flow and equity reconciliation, and preparation of notes to the financial statements.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new consolidation and finance IT tools, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Lead the integration of newly acquired brands into the Group's reporting framework and standards, guaranteeing consistency and compliance.
  • Participate in merger and acquisition projects, handling purchase price allocation, integration, and first accounting under IFRS, in collaboration with external auditors.
  • Manage relations with external auditors for ordinary requests during audited closings, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Collaborate with local finance teams worldwide, providing guidelines, assistance, and support to ensure consistent financial reporting.
  • Take part in non-current assets impairment tests twice a year, analyzing and evaluating asset values.
  • Work closely with the Group FP&A team to consolidate budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning.
  • Implement new IFRS rules and regulations, continuously improving Group standards and IT solutions.
  • Develop and maintain the Group's accounting manual and reporting guidelines, promoting best practices and consistency.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to top management, supporting informed decision-making.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's Degree in Finance or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar position, preferably within an industry or service group.
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory consolidation and accounting under IFRS.
  • Fluency in English, with French being a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in IT solutions, ideally with experience in implementing new consolidation tools.
  • Solid experience in M&A projects, with expertise in purchase price allocation and dedicated consolidation entries.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear guidance and instructions to subsidiaries and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with high autonomy and accountability.
  • Proactive approach, continuous improvement mindset, and strong collaborative spirit.
