Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consolidation and Group Reporting Controller to join our Group Consolidation Team. This role will involve participating in the preparation of the Group consolidated financial statements each quarter, as well as contributing to the monthly closing and consolidation of budget and forecasts for top management.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of statutory consolidation and accounting under IFRS, with +5 years' proven expertise in a similar position in industry or services Group. A Master's Degree in Finance is required, with strong Excel skills and experience with the implementation of new consolidation tools an advantage.

This is a permanent, full-time basis (100%) position based in Plan-Les-Ouates (near Geneva), reporting to the Group Accounting and Consolidation Director. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, with French a plus, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, analyze, and release audited Group financial statements: review local data, assist local teams, IFRS entries, tax proof, cash flow, equity reconciliation, and notes to financial statements.
  • Contribute to implementing new consolidation and finance IT tool.
  • Integrate newly acquired brands into Group's reporting framework and standards.
  • Participate in merger and acquisition projects: purchase price allocation, integration, first accounting under IFRS, external auditor relations.
  • Manage relations with external auditors during audited closings.
  • Communicate with local finance teams worldwide (guidelines, assistance).
  • Participate in non-current assets impairment test campaign, twice a year.
  • Consolidate budgets and forecasts with Group FP&A team.
  • Implement new IFRS rules, ensuring continuous improvement of Group standards and IT solutions.
  • Contribute to developing Group's accounting manual and reporting guidelines.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Finance.
  • +5 years' experience in similar position.
  • Extensive knowledge of statutory consolidation and IFRS.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Fluent English, French a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, high level of autonomy, proactive approach, continuous improvement mindset.

Estimated salary range: CHF 120,000 - 180,000 per annum (depending on experience)
