Speedgoat GmbH, a pioneering high-tech engineering company, is seeking an exceptional Chief Messaging Strategist and Content Creator to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing the messaging strategy for core market segments across the customer journey.

About the Role

This pivotal position requires a highly skilled individual with a strong background in copywriting, marketing strategy, and team leadership. You will collaborate with Speedgoat's subject matter experts to distill the unique selling points and value proposition of their solutions into compelling content that drives engagement and conversion.

Main Responsibilities
  • Messaging Strategy Development: Define the messaging strategy for Speedgoat and its core solutions in key markets, collaborating with market and industry experts to craft unique selling points, solution highlights, and value propositions tailored to target audiences.
  • Copywriting Aligned with Messaging Strategy: Plan, write, edit, and publish high-quality content that conveys the messaging strategy effectively across the customer journey. Create engaging texts for the website, marketing campaigns, marketing automation, customer success stories, newsletters, press releases, and other marketing content.
  • Messaging Architecture & Flow: Research and define an ideal information flow to prospects and customers and implement the respective flow in a coherent messaging strategy with a primary focus on the webpage. Optimize text for best readability, highest conversion rates, and optimal search engine discoverability.
  • Ensure Messaging Consistency: Maintain consistency in messaging across all marketing outputs. Review, edit, and proofread all marketing materials to uphold high standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of copywriters, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment aligned with Speedgoat's vision and values.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Journalism, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial B2B domain.
  • Demonstrated expertise in copywriting high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including websites, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written. Proficiency in additional languages such as German, Italian, French, Mandarin, or Japanese is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
