Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Tax Accounting Expert to join our team in Zurich. As a member of our Corporate Tax team, you will be responsible for supporting clients and audit teams with all tax accounting matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Swiss tax law and/or audit experience. You will be working closely with our cross-functional team, including experts from other divisions and tax specialists. Your expertise will be essential in the coordination and implementation of complex tax accounting projects, as well as leading audit teams and managing tax processes.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English is required, and German language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculating, reviewing, and advising on tax positions in financial statements prepared under various standards
  • Supporting and managing Pillar II (Global Minimum Taxation) Projects, focusing on tax accounting considerations
  • Assisting clients with tax reporting obligations, including evolving tax transparency reporting
  • Leading audit teams as the lead tax specialist, applying specialist knowledge and coordinating international teams
  • Developing tools and standardized solutions for tax accounting and reporting tasks
  • Managing complex and multidisciplinary project management
  • Collaborating with experts from other divisions and tax specialists in Transfer Pricing and VAT areas
  • Closely cooperating and coordinating with foreign KPMG offices on tax audits and projects for internationally active Swiss companies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, finance, law, or a related field, ideally with a focus on tax law
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in Swiss tax law and/or audit
  • Several years of Tax Accounting experience
  • Experience in coordinating and implementing complex tax accounting projects, leading audit teams, and managing tax processes
  • Fluency in English, German language skills are an advantage
  • An open and communicative personality with a solution-oriented mindset
