This role requires a high level of expertise in Swiss tax law and/or audit experience, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

You will be working closely with our cross-functional team, including experts from other divisions and tax specialists, to deliver complex tax accounting projects and support clients and audit teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Calculate, review, and advise on tax positions in financial statements prepared under various standards
  • Support and manage Pillar II (Global Minimum Taxation) Projects, focusing on tax accounting considerations
  • Assist clients with tax reporting obligations, including evolving tax transparency reporting
  • Lead audit teams as the lead tax specialist, applying specialist knowledge and coordinating international teams
  • Develop tools and standardized solutions for tax accounting and reporting tasks
  • Manage complex and multidisciplinary project management
  • Collaborate with experts from other divisions and tax specialists in Transfer Pricing and VAT areas
  • Closely cooperate and coordinate with foreign KPMG offices on tax audits and projects for internationally active Swiss companies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, finance, law, or a related field, ideally with a focus on tax law
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in Swiss tax law and/or audit
  • Several years of Tax Accounting experience
  • Experience in coordinating and implementing complex tax accounting projects, leading audit teams, and managing tax processes
  • Fluency in English, German language skills are an advantage
  • An open and communicative personality with a solution-oriented mindset
