Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety and Reliability Engineer to join our team in Wetzikon, Switzerland. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our helicopters.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety activities according to Kopter's safety programs, focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare system safety documentation, such as SFHA and P/SSA, using established methodologies.
  • Review suppliers' safety and reliability documentation for assigned systems.
  • Liaise with engineering design departments, airworthiness department, customer support, and suppliers on safety and reliability matters.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety within the aviation industry, with rotorcraft experience being an asset.
  • Good knowledge of one or more systems: Avionic, Electrical, Fuel, Environmental Control, and/or Hydraulic.
  • Familiarity with Isograph FaultTree+ or PTC Windchill.
  • Knowledge of SAE ARP4761 and ARP4754A.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations (CS23, CS25, CS27, or CS29).
  • English spoken and written at a minimum B2 level.
