Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytical Automation Specialist to join our team in the Global Analytical Development organization.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Description

This role represents an opportunity to significantly contribute to the startup of high-tech analytical laboratories by supporting the development and implementation of automated high-throughput analytical assays to support therapeutics protein process development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of new end-to-end robotic routine analytical methods integrating the BDC robotic community.
  • Execute and code scripts on Tecan Fluent liquid handlers for sample preparation.
  • Be involved as an early user for newly developed end-to-end scripts, enhancing their functionality and user-friendliness for routine analysis.
  • Function as an intermediary between routine analytical technicians and robotics experts to support method development.
  • Contribute to design experiments, review data, and analytical documentation in the frame of method performance evaluation in collaboration with scientists.
  • Perform tabulation and statistical analyses of study data, as required.
  • Participate in the design, planning, and execution of assigned development-related experiments using existing or investigational procedures.
  • Apply principles of quality by design (QbD) and of Good Laboratory Practices (GxP).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You have a CFC or bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry, biotechnology, or robotics-related subjects.
  • Strong knowledge of liquid handlers or robotics systems.
  • Knowledge of Tecan liquid handlers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Thermo Fisher Momentum is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
  • You have good oral and written understanding skills in English.
  • You have rigorous attention to detail.
  • You have a high degree of self-motivation, commitment, reliability, and flexibility.
