Position Overview

Nestl's Legal team seeks an expert IP Paralegal to support the Senior Legal Counsel responsible for the trademark portfolio and drive IP projects independently.

About the Role

As an IP Paralegal, you will be responsible for conducting trademark availability searches, analyzing results, and making recommendations to the Senior Counsel. You will also handle trademark and industrial design registration processes, deal with objections, and negotiate agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct online and full trademark availability searches and analyze results
  • Handle registration processes from filing to grant
  • Deal with objections and negotiate agreements
  • Monitor deadlines and update internal databases
  • Assist with projects involving legal research and information

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have solid experience in the trademark field, preferably in an international environment or a law firm. You should be familiar with online databases and IP management systems. Excellent planning and organizational skills, flexibility, and a high attention to detail are also essential.
