Overview
">The Global Logistics Coordinator - Sea Freight Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the entire transport process by sea freight import and export, from pickup to delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience in a sea freight environment.
Job Description
">- Control and organize the transportation of goods by sea freight import and export, ensuring timely delivery and accurate invoicing.
- Act as a proactive interface between customers, DSV offices/agents, sales teams, subcontractors, and carriers, maintaining effective communication throughout the daily business.
- Process customer orders, review shipment and order-related data/documents, and record orders accurately.
- Monitor job costing/profitability, process vendor invoices according to instructions, and resolve operational problems/issues.
- Ensure quality responsibility, adhering to specified processes and operating procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
">- Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
- Customer focus, continuously monitoring expectations and adapting own activities/procedures.
- Strong planning and organizing skills, prioritizing tasks, setting deadlines, and controlling performance.
- Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice Concepts and applicable SOPs.
- Commercial apprenticeship or relevant working experience in sea freight.
- Fluency in English and French; German is an asset.
