  • Lead the External Reporting Process: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, filings, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Expertise: Ensure adherence to IFRS and Swiss-GAAP standards, as well as regulatory requirements, to maintain financial reporting credibility.
  • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, such as Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations, to ensure financial disclosures are accurate and consistent.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Technical Accounting Expertise: Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and reporting implications of corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Board and Senior Management Reporting: Prepare and present external reporting updates to the CFO, Board of Directors, and senior leaders, as needed.
  • Regulatory Monitoring and Updates: Stay informed on changes in accounting standards and regulations, assessing their impact on financial reporting and compliance.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
    • Experience in a publicly traded company and stock exchange listing
    • Certification in IFRS and strong understanding of technical accounting principles
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
    • Strong organizational and attention to detail
    • Fluency in English, German a plus
