About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Expedia Media Solutions team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring, building, and maintaining a pipeline of prospects to ensure the attainment of quarterly revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory and market-level sales strategy to grow the Expedia Media Solutions TravelAds business.
  • Engage with partners to understand their business needs and goals, and develop effective marketing strategies to achieve those goals.
  • Utilize analytics skills to understand performance data and trends, and make forward-thinking suggestions to clients.
  • Monitor the day-to-day performance of advertising partnerships and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Deliver continued improvement in revenue contribution to Media Solutions through a consultative partner-first sales approach.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue goals as set by sales leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in media sales or a related field, or equivalent related professional experience.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience in media sales or the travel industry.
  • Fluent in German and English, with French or another language being a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets and effectively present proposals and provide influence at the senior management level.
  • Experience in providing consultative sales support and building long-lasting client relationships, which may require travel.
  • Validated ability to collaborate with peers, managers, and other client-facing teams.
