Carbon Capture Specialist for Industrial Scale Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Carbon Capture Specialist to join our team at Holcim, a leading company in the cement manufacturing industry.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of economically viable Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technologies. You will be responsible for evaluating and developing promising CCUS concepts and CO2 capturing technologies in cement plants.
Main Responsibilities- Evaluate and develop CCUS concepts and CO2 capturing technologies in cement plants, collaborating with corporate CC function and country organizations.
- Participate in process design from early project stages, supporting feasibility, pre-FEED, FEED and EPC to position CO2 capture technologies and solutions.
- Propose safe, innovative, and optimized process engineering solutions to reduce CAPEX/Opex costs.
- Identify and manage process interfaces with existing and new facilities, including pyro system, flue gas treatment plant, and plant infrastructure.
- Execute process engineering tasks in compliance with safety and process design standards.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Industrial Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering for FGT systems in carbon capture systems.
- Experience working on a cement plant.
- Technical leadership in FGT of CC plant concept development.
- Knowledge of chemical process simulation software.
- Manufacturing background in petrochemical industry, industrial gas production, or carbon capture industry.
- Strong listening, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Cost consciousness and result-oriented.
- Open-minded for innovation and change.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
