Job Opportunity: PhD Position in Innovation Management for Edge AI

This PhD position is part of a larger initiative to advance innovation management in the field of Edge AI. The successful candidate will work on exciting research that studies innovative Edge AI software/hardware solutions design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on Edge AI software/hardware solutions design
  • Develop industry-relevant implementation strategies for Edge AI processes and outcomes that match with values, needs and expectations of society
  • Collaborate with industrial and academic partners through secondments
  • Contribute to the development of a specialized European PhD training program

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, Applied Psychology, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Strong passion for and outstanding knowledge of innovation management, technology transfer processes, and research commercialization
  • Knowledge on qualitative and/or quantitative empirical methods, experiments, econometrics and/or machine learning/AI
  • Ability to work on real-world problems in an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented environment
  • Good communication skills and an excellent command of English
