Photonic Integrated Circuits Coordinator

Job Summary

LIGENTEC SA is a dynamic European company specializing in the design and manufacturing of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) for high-tech areas such as Quantum Technologies, LiDAR, Space Technologies, and Biosensors. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced coordinator to join our team and contribute to the success of our EU projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project execution to ensure completion of the work statement, with a focus on milestones and objectives within the framework of EU projects.
  • Plan, monitor, and track projects, ensuring alignment and collaboration among project leads.
  • Develop and maintain Statements of Work (SOWs) to meet project requirements.
  • Support individual work package owners with project planning and tracking as needed.
  • Manage cost accounts, budget planning and controlling, and handle internal and external reporting for various projects.
  • Prepare and submit proposals to public institutions, leveraging public funding knowledge.
  • Conduct reporting and audits for publicly funded projects to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement and the Quality Management System (QMS).
Requirements
  • A degree level (or equivalent) qualification in Science or Engineering, with experience in relevant environments being a strong plus (MEMS, Semiconductors, Nano-Optics).
  • Knowledge of proposal submission processes to public institutions and public funding mechanisms.
  • Strong experience in project planning and management, including significant experience with EU projects, preferably as a coordinator.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (Project Management certification highly appreciated).
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities, both upstream and downstream.
  • Open-minded, critical, and innovative thinker.
  • Ability to work effectively with remote teams and under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in reporting and auditing publicly funded projects is a strong plus.
  • Working proficiency in English and French.
