The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Principal Medical Director to join our Neurology franchise and lead the development of the Clinical Development (CD) strategy for late-stage clinical studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurodegenerative medicine and experience in leading CD plans and executing pivotal trials in the US and globally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and operationalizing the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) for assigned molecule(s)/indication(s), collaborating with internal/external partners and stakeholders, and providing clinical science input and guidance to early development/Phase I studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and operationalize the CDP for assigned molecule(s)/indication(s)
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners and stakeholders
  • Provide clinical science input and guidance to early development/Phase I studies
  • Lead or oversee others in development of briefing packages and responses to HA questions
  • Play a lead role in educating others internally and externally on relevant clinical developments

Requirements

We are looking for a Neurologist with 8+ years of pharma/biotech R&D experience, strong presence and relationships with KOLs in the field of neurodegenerative medicine, and experience in late-stage drug development. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to influence internal partners and stakeholders.
