We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Physics Director to join our team at ARTBIO. As a critical member of our Program Team, you will play a key role in advancing our development pipeline and contributing to the design and development of protocols, plans, and procedures required for our Radioligand Therapy (RLT) clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to support the clinical development plans for RLT agents, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the design and development of protocols, plans, and procedures required for RLT clinical studies, including radiotherapeutics and imaging agents.
- Provide oversight and guidance for Medical Physics, Imaging, and Radiation Protection for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Deliver subject matter expertise regarding Medical Physics, including advanced imaging techniques, dosimetry estimation, and radiation protection.
- Manage the resolution of technical/medical physics/dosimetry questions and issues on a study and program level, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Develop procedures and guidance to minimize radiation exposure to patients and clinical site personnel, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Lead imaging/dosimetry academic collaborations, contractors, vendor/partner interactions, and oversee CRO vendors, including imaging core labs and dosimetry vendors.
- Collaborate with the oncology clinical team to ensure strong collaboration between functions, collaborators, and vendors, and high team performance.
- Participate in program development/enhancement, financial planning and analysis, metric and reporting, shared services relationship management, contract compliance, and process improvement.
- At least 12 years of industry experience; advanced degree required, Ph.D. preferred, in Medical Physics or Radiation Protection.
- Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of and commitment to medical imaging and dosimetry in the field of RLT development.
- Experience of Medical Imaging, Regulatory, and Clinical Research processes.
- Direct experience designing and managing imaging aspects of clinical protocols for oncology RLT agents, including study design, endpoint selection, dosimetry, harmonization between clinical sites, imaging core lab oversight, etc.
- Specific experience with imaging study design and direct/indirect estimation of normal organ and tumour dosimetry for early-stage clinical development in RLT agents.
- Interpersonal skills, organization, and communication skills, leadership skills, and problem-solving competency.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with team members and independently.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and advancement.
