Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Randstad. As a key player in achieving our growth targets, you will be responsible for developing our business in the Swiss German part of Switzerland.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as an expert in molecular extraction and detection solutions, analyzing strategic decision-making in hospitals and private laboratories.
  • Identify and convince decision-makers, Key Opinion Leaders, and influencers, proposing technical and clinical solutions.
  • Work closely with account managers to create synergy with other products, leading to efficient teamwork.
  • Participate in pre-tender works and provide tender's support.
Your Profile:
  • Scientific background (Bachelor/Master or PhD in biology/infectious disease), preferably with a specialization in Molecular.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, particularly in the life sciences sector with a focus on clinical applications.
  • Strong clinical background – laboratory process/healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with infectious disease diagnosis, treatment, and/or microbiology/virology methods is desirable.
  • Fluent in English and German is a must, French and/or Italian a plus. Native Swiss German is a great plus.
  • Excellent business and strategic planning and execution capabilities with a drive for results.
  • Willing to travel 60% of the time.
  • Team player.
