Director of Quality Engineering

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality Engineering to lead our Global Quality Assurance team in Visp, Switzerland. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our projects, driving business growth, and developing long-term strategies for our Visp Project Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance Leadership: Oversee all quality-related responsibilities for the CQV Lifecycle Program, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Project Management: Coordinate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Department Operations: Manage day-to-day operations, oversee staff members' work, and provide direction as needed.
- Industry Trends and Developments: Monitor industry trends and share information with colleagues to ensure the organization remains relevant in its field.
- Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategies for the Visp Project Portfolio, including setting goals and creating plans for achieving them.
Requirements
- Education: Master of Science in Bio-Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience working in a GMP-related environment in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in Quality Assurance and Project Management.
- Skills: Proficient experience in the execution of CAPEX, green-field experience an advantage; experience in Regulatory inspections; leadership experience an advantage; proficient experience in Project Management and Stakeholder Management, certification in Project Management an advantage.
- Language: Fluent in English, German language skills an advantage.
