Senior Director Global Quality Engineering Visp

As a seasoned leader, you will have the opportunity to spearhead Quality Assurance activities for a Capex project within the Global Quality Engineering team at Lonza. This role is critical to our growth strategy in Visp, Switzerland, and we are seeking an experienced professional with a drive to ensure timely project completion and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Owning all quality-related responsibilities for the CQV Lifecycle Program for new facilities, equipment, and utilities related to the GMP manufacturing of biologics & APIs
- Coordinating with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Overseeing department operations, including staff management and development
- Monitoring industry trends and new developments in the field, and sharing this information with colleagues
- Developing long-term strategies for the Visp Project Portfolio, including goal setting and plan creation
Requirements:
- Master of Science in Bio-Engineering or a related field
- Experience working in a GMP-related environment in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record in Quality Assurance, with a focus on biologics or cell gene
- Proficient experience in CAPEX execution, with green-field experience an advantage
- Regulatory inspection experience
- Leadership experience is an advantage
- Project Management and Stakeholder Management experience, with certification an advantage
