Digital Growth Leader

The Head of Digital Growth is a senior leadership role at EF Education First, responsible for driving significant revenue growth through the company's digital growth strategy. This role involves managing a team of Digital Growth Managers and collaborating closely with local marketing teams to execute high-impact, scalable campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership & Growth Focus: Develop and lead the overall digital growth strategy, driving measurable growth in revenue and customer acquisition. Lead a team of Digital Growth Managers to ensure consistent execution across all regions and local markets, and align efforts with business objectives.
- ROI Optimization: Maximize the return on marketing investments by continuously optimizing the allocation of resources between paid and organic channels, ensuring that all strategies are designed to deliver the highest possible ROI. Identify areas of waste and reallocate budgets to more cost-effective, growth-oriented tactics.
- Target Audience & Brand Reach: Drive strategies that enhance brand awareness, reach, and engagement with key target audiences. Ensure that all campaigns, both digital and offline, are fine-tuned to attract high-quality leads and convert them efficiently.
- Shift to Organic Growth: Spearhead the transition from a heavy reliance on paid digital advertising to a more balanced approach, emphasizing the growth of organic channels such as SEO, content marketing, and social media. This includes optimizing resource allocation to reduce CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and improve overall efficiency.
- Collaboration with Local Teams: Work closely with local marketing teams to ensure the central digital growth strategy is executed effectively and tailored to local market conditions. Provide guidance and support to help local teams optimize their efforts while maintaining brand consistency and strategic alignment.
- Data-Driven Campaign Optimization: Oversee the use of analytics to track campaign performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement improvements that drive conversion rates, lead quality, and overall revenue. Leverage insights to continuously refine and optimize the customer journey.
- Budgeting & Resource Allocation: Take ownership of the digital growth budget, ensuring that investments are made in the most impactful areas. Strategically shift spending from high-cost paid channels to more sustainable and scalable organic efforts, achieving long-term ROI improvement.
- Multichannel Campaign Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive multichannel marketing campaigns that effectively balance online and offline efforts. Ensure campaigns are cohesive, scalable, and aligned with revenue-driving objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure digital growth efforts are closely tied to business outcomes. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to align marketing with sales goals, product launches, and overall company strategy.
- Innovate for Growth: Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in digital marketing. Identify new growth opportunities, tools, and platforms that can enhance campaign effectiveness and drive revenue growth across all markets.
- Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in digital marketing or growth roles, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership position managing multiple teams or regions. Proven success in driving revenue growth and optimizing marketing ROI.
- ROI & Growth Expertise: Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels with extensive experience in driving high-ROI campaigns, both paid and organic. Expertise in shifting from high-cost paid efforts to sustainable organic growth while maximizing overall efficiency.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Experience leading and mentoring teams, managing performance, and driving collaboration across departments and regions to achieve business goals.
- Analytical & Data-Driven: Advanced proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems) to track campaign performance, optimize investments, and make data-driven decisions that enhance growth and ROI.
- Excellent Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership, manage stakeholders, and align cross-functional teams.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, large-scale projects across multiple markets while driving measurable outcomes and maintaining focus on ROI.
