Technical Innovation Leader

ROLE

:
  • Take charge of maintaining and evolving a portion of our internal digital platform, ensuring its stability and scalability.
  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and libraries (in Java and Kotlin) and frontend app and libraries (in TypeScript), adhering to industry best practices.
  • Support teams that utilize our platform to develop innovative solutions in the digital sovereignty landscape, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Develop skills in solving technical challenges in other domains, such as infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and subsystem interactions.
  • Evaluate and introduce new innovative technologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Contribute to the construction of the technical roadmap, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and strategic direction.
  • Assist the agile team in organizing its work and processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
  • Foster technical collaboration and adoption of the digital platform, managing external suppliers and ensuring seamless integration.
  • Apply and promote software engineering best practices, including testing, documentation, and code review.

PROFILE:

  • Possess a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrate experience and a willingness to grow knowledge of TypeScript, Angular, and its ecosystem; Java (and Kotlin), Spring Boot, and its ecosystem.
  • Be able to collaborate with others and learn how to write well-tested and efficient code that is easy to understand, evolve, and maintain.
  • Have familiarity with the Linux environment, including shell scripting and software packaging.
  • Be keen on learning open-source and trendy technologies, such as Spring (Boot), Angular, gRPC, OpenAPI, Docker, OpenShift or Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MinIO, Keycloak / OpenID Connect, Jenkins, Spark, Hadoop.
  • Be a great team player who thrives in multi-cultural working environments and is also able to work independently.
  • Be fluent in English (knowledge of French is a plus).
