  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to drive growth and innovation, leveraging market trends and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to assess and prioritize business opportunities, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases for new opportunities, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of turning selected opportunities into profitable businesses, driving growth and revenue expansion.
  • Build and maintain a broad network of contacts in key markets to leverage trust and drive business development, fostering strategic partnerships and collaborations.
  • Strengthen the company's strategic marketing and business development competencies, enhancing its competitive edge and market presence.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on growth strategies and market opportunities, informing business decisions and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of new business initiatives and their impact on company performance, ensuring accountability and transparency.

PROFILE:

  • University degree in a technical field and MBA (or equivalent); 6σ certification is a plus, demonstrating a strong foundation in business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience 5-10 years in product development, B2B marketing and business development roles, showcasing a track record of success in driving growth and innovation.
  • Curiosity, agility, and comfort in exploring unknown areas, with a genuine interest in customers and what makes them successful.
  • Business and financial acumen, with demonstrated project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and developing business cases, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
