We are seeking a skilled Device Engineer to join our team at Roche Technical Development in the Device Development Department.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for the development and support of drug delivery devices, including Prefilled Syringes with Needle Safety Devices, Autoinjectors, and high-volume Patch-injectors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects from concept to market launch, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of combination products and medical devices.
- Evaluate new technologies and apply theoretical engineering knowledge to develop robust technical product requirements and design solutions.
- Author and maintain design control documentation, conformity assessments, and risk management documents.
- Plan and execute device development projects within agreed time, quality, and cost constraints.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering and drug delivery device development, preferably in a pharma or regulated environment.
- Solid knowledge of legislation, regulations, industry standards, and guidance related to combination products and medical devices.
- Demonstrable experience working with Health Authorities and interacting with regulatory bodies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English (German is an asset).

We offer a competitive salary, approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
