Laboratory Technician in Chemical Research

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting analytical assessments and synthesis in the laboratory environment.
  • Preparing and ensuring the upkeep of laboratory apparatus.
  • Establishing and overseeing experimental procedures.
  • Documenting real-time data from experiments in a laboratory journal and subsequently inputting the data into digital systems.
  • Formulating solutions and handling hazardous substances, including acids and other chemicals.
  • Managing stockroom tasks, which encompass cleaning glassware, controlling inventory, managing safety data sheets, maintaining cleanliness, overseeing waste disposal, and performing additional assigned responsibilities.
  • Acquiring necessary supplies or equipment as directed.
Qualifications
  • Educational background or scientific knowledge in chemistry is essential.
  • Familiarity with analytical instruments and general laboratory tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in both German and English is preferred.
