Laboratory Assistant

Key Responsibilities- Conduct analytical and synthesis work in a laboratory setting
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Set up and monitor experiments to collect accurate data
- Record and document experimental results in a lab journal and enter data into a computer system
- Prepare solutions and handle hazardous materials, such as acids and other chemicals, with caution
- Perform stockroom duties, including glassware washing, inventory control, and safety data sheet management
- Procure supplies and equipment as needed
- Relevant education and scientific knowledge in chemistry
- Experience with analytical equipment and general laboratory equipment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in German and English languages
