Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting analytical and synthesis work, maintaining laboratory equipment, and recording data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analytical and synthesis work in the laboratory
  • Maintain and prepare laboratory equipment for experiments
  • Set up and monitor experiments, recording data in a lab journal and entering it into a computer
  • Prepare solutions and work with hazardous materials, such as acids and chemicals
  • Perform stockroom duties, including glassware washing, inventory control, and waste management
  • Obtain supplies and equipment as required
Requirements
  • Necessary education and scientific knowledge in chemistry
  • Experience with analytical equipment and general laboratory equipment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in German and English
