Our Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems produces over 10 billion syringes, vials, ampoules, cartridges, and special articles of tubing glass or polymer.

Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled (Senior) Product Engineer to join our global R&D department in St. Gallen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new products and technologies, securing intellectual property, and executing complex innovation and customer-specific projects from idea to market launch.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop new products and technologies, and secure their intellectual property.
  • Be an expert in polymer, glass, or rubber products and related technologies, and in the development of primary and secondary packaging.
  • Execute complex innovation and customer-specific projects from idea to market launch.
  • Plan technical work packages and deliver them according to quality, delivery, and cost targets, in alignment with your project manager.
  • Understand regulatory and technical customer requirements, and production processes and their impact on product functionalities and vice versa.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in Life Science or Engineering, and (5+) 2+ years of working experience in product development of medical devices or pharmaceutical packaging. You should have knowledge and experience with glass, rubber, or polymer products and related technologies, and knowledge of design control process, process validation, and related standards and regulations.
