Director, GPS-BIA Emerging Capabilities

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director to lead our GPS-BIA Emerging Capabilities team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for enabling data products and use cases as defined in Quantum Leap workstreams, as well as developing a technology roadmap to support both QL goals and GPS enterprise initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business representatives and IT partners to validate data products and develop innovative solutions for QL use cases and additional analytics for the GPS-BIA organization and broader BIA org.
  • Develop guidelines and BIA user experience for data marketplace, enabling appropriate visibility and accessibility to data and the creation and maintenance of new data.
  • Serve as data steward and SME for BIA-GPS datasets and champion the data governance process, ensuring that critical datasets are industrialized in core systems and databases.
  • Develop and drive the technology roadmap for GPS BIA to address common needs across teams with a focus on advance AI/ML applications, digital twins, self-serve analytics deployment, and ML Ops capabilities.
  • Set best practices for the use of technologies and capabilities across the BIA organization for the purpose of broad applicability, sustainability, and scalability.
Requirements
  • Masters or PhD in analytical/IT related field (i.e. predictive sciences, statistics, engineering, computer science) and 7+ years experience.
  • Expertise in the development of IT infrastructure highly desirable.
  • Experience in UX/UI interfaces.
  • Expertise with a full stack of analytical tools required: database architecture, analytics platforms, programming languages, and visualization tools.
