Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Geneva. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing overall project cost, schedule, and budgets. You will also manage General Contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project cost, schedule, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage General Contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
- Analyse and track critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
- Run and lead client and other required meetings to ensure effective communication and project progress.
- Identify factors that influence construction costs and monitor and report on this data.
- Support engineering decisions relating to project cost and budget during design-build changes.
- Review requests for payment and record occurrences that might result in a claim.
- Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications.
Requirements
- A construction-related academic qualification or degree (construction, project management, engineering, surveying, or architecture).
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in project management for data centre construction projects.
- Proficiency in both English and French is an absolute necessity.
- Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations.
- Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills and ability to multi-task.
- Must have a 'team attitude', be self-motivated, and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
