Principal Quality Assurance Engineer for Cloud and DevOps

About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves leading the development and implementation of testing automation strategies, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and improve test frameworks, covering unit, integration, functional, end-to-end, and stress testing.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement robust testing automation setups, including Docker images and Kubernetes configurations.
- Participate in feature definition, ensuring clear acceptance criteria that inform concise test plans.
- Develop and maintain high-quality test suites and frameworks for various testing types.
- Expand test automation coverage to include performance, load, and security testing.
- Collaborate with delivery teams on CI/CD projects, ensuring efficient deployment processes.
- Provide Level 3 support for technical issues, working alongside the team.
- Contribute to the overall product architecture and design, aligning with technological advancements.
- Participate actively in technology roadmap discussions and agile iterative/incremental development practices.
To succeed in this role, you'll possess:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or quality assurance.
- Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Brownie points for Gatling experience.
- Proven expertise in CI tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD.
- Coding and scripting skills in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with developing scalable, highly available, and reliable software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A mindset oriented towards continuous improvement, lean thinking, and high-quality work.
- Professional-level English language proficiency, with French being a plus.
