We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist - Advisory to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our advisory team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality advice and support on FATCA, CRS, and QI rules.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and support on FATCA, CRS, and QI rules to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze complex cases and collaborate with Compliance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal processes and procedures related to QI, FATCA, and CRS.
- Communicate effectively with clients, Front Office teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of tax services.
- Act as an escalation point for Client Documentation Teams and provide guidance to Tax Services.
- Design and deliver training programs on QI, FATCA, and CRS to Front Office and Client Documentation Teams.
- Assess tax risk and compliance of complex structures and transactions.
- Participate in central tax compliance initiatives and contribute to the development of tax strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar function in the financial services industry.
- Subject matter expertise on FATCA, CRS, and QI rules.
- Ability to analyze and review complex wealth and legal structures from a tax compliance perspective.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
