Manufacturing Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Compliance Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Process Ownership: Supervise the installation, maintenance, and calibration of equipment to ensure top performance and alignment to industry standards.
- Quality and Compliance: Review exceptions, support batch record reviews, and lead deviation investigations and CAPAs to ensure quality and compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive quality and process improvements using Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with various departments and represent DS Manufacturing in external interactions.
- Accountability and Customer Focus: Take personal accountability for presence, performance, and efficiency, and think and act with a customer-centric approach.
- Education: Bachelor/Master/PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Food Science.
- Language: Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical operations within a GMP environment.
- Skills: Strong experience in biotech processes, sterile processes, and production equipment handling.
- Availability: Willingness to travel occasionally and availability for remote on-call duties.
