Strategic Technology Manager

About the Role

Lombard Odier is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Technology Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Technology and Operations department, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction and roadmap for the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive the strategic agenda for the Technology and Operations organization, ensuring alignment with group-wide ambitions.
  • Lead cross-departmental initiatives, including the formulation of strategies and multi-year transformation roadmaps in collaboration with department heads.
  • Shape the target operating model (including organizational structure and processes) to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the unit.
  • Implement and manage cost control measures and strategies to maximize value and return on investment.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging trends and technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Act as a change agent, promoting and guiding the adoption of new methods and practices across Technology and Operations teams.
  • Continuously challenge and refine existing processes and ways of working to drive improvement and innovation.
  • Contribute to shaping the future direction and service offerings of the Technology and Operations organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Requirements
  • University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent academic/work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in consulting, financial services, or a related field, with a strong preference for experience in wealth management.
  • Proven experience in IT strategy development, organizational design, target operating model definition, and cost management.
  • Strong analytical and structured approach, with the ability to synthesize complex topics and communicate them effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Power Point and Excel, with a strong ability to create compelling presentations and reports.
  • Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).
  • Located in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
