Job Title: Service Project Specialist

Join ABB Switzerland Ltd as a Service Project Specialist and take on a challenging role that combines technical expertise with project management skills.

About the Role:

This position reports to the Service Team Leader and is responsible for coordinating certain aspects of a UPS installation project. You will support Project Managers in the management and execution of project activities, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze plan versus actual project performance, supporting technically all UPS-related aspects.
  • Monitor progress versus plan, controlling technical implementation, and releasing technical documentation.
  • Control documentation accuracy and consistency based on tasks assigned and procedures agreed upon with the customer.
  • Review project plans and ensure that site safety and integrity topics are identified and addressed before the commencement of/and during the project.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or similar degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Familiarity with UPS products is a plus.
  • Experience with or knowledge of project management.
  • Good understanding of technical documentation/diagrams and ability to write technical documents, reports, and procedures for field support.
  • Good familiarity with MS Office package and SAP.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Profound verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 or higher), Italian (or other European language) is a plus.
  • Organized, precise, and efficient way of working as well as good interpersonal skills.
