Advanced Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland. This is a full-time contract position with a remote/hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Kinaxis RapidResponse and a strong background in supply chain management. You will be responsible for optimizing supply chain processes, leading system implementations, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Kinaxis RapidResponse Implementation and Configuration:
    • Led the design, configuration, and deployment of Kinaxis RapidResponse to meet business requirements.
    • Customize workflows, dashboards, and data integration points for seamless operations.
    • Ensure integration with existing enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Leverage Kinaxis to improve demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and production scheduling processes.
    • Conduct scenario planning and what-if simulations to support decision-making.
    • Monitor and optimize key supply chain performance metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • User Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to end-users and super-users on Kinaxis functionalities and best practices.
    • Troubleshoot system issues and deliver timely solutions to support daily operations.
    • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, business processes, and training materials.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage or support supply chain-related projects, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, logistics, procurement, and production to ensure project success.
    • Communicate project milestones, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Develop custom reports and dashboards to support real-time visibility into the supply chain.
    • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
    • Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track supply chain performance.

Salary Range: CHF 80,000 - CHF 110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Kinaxis RapidResponse certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to conduct scenario planning and what-if analysis to support rapid decision-making.
