Job DescriptionThe Customer Care Specialist (CCS) is responsible for managing the order-to-cash process, ensuring excellent customer service, and acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities- Process customer orders via multiple channels and manage order confirmations in SAP to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure timely order fulfillment and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and addressing issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate customer data and ensure compliance with country-specific requirements to avoid any potential risks.
- Generate and manage shipping and export documentation to facilitate smooth operations and meet regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Finance to monitor consignment stocks and credit limits, ensuring optimal business performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall business success.
- A commercial education or relevant experience in Customer Care, logistics, or transportation is essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in SAP R3 SD and Microsoft Office is critical for managing orders, monitoring inventory, and generating reports.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and insurance liability is necessary for effective logistics management and risk mitigation.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages such as German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Dutch are a plus for communicating with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are required to excel in this position and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Candidates should be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
