Research and Development Leader

Sonova's R&D people leaders play a crucial role in guiding individuals and teams to success. They work closely with technical managers to ensure the optimal functioning of development teams, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative and psychologically safe work environment. As a people leader, you will drive employee engagement and talent development, contributing to organizational development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide line management for employees, including performance management, training, and recruitment
- Develop talent through coaching and mentoring, manage conflicts effectively
- Contribute to the organizational development of R&D and continuous improvement of existing processes
- Guide teams and individuals through change processes, facilitate knowledge sharing
- Embody and strengthen company culture and values, foster employee engagement
- Manage the supply of both soft and technical skills to our development teams
- University degree, preferably in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Additional qualification in coaching and change management is a strong plus
- 5+ years of experience in people management, preferably in a technical or research environment
- Strong leadership skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to address interpersonal matters
- Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to advocate for oneself
- A positive, proactive, and can-do attitude
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written. German language skills are a plus
