We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Group Taxation to join our team at Eleven Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our taxation efforts and providing strategic guidance to our senior management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of group direct and indirect taxation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Liaise with taxation managers at each site to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication.
- Lead the resolution of disputes and ongoing taxation cases with taxation authorities across the group.
- Provide taxation inputs and advice for group projects, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the group's taxation position, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Represent the organization in industry forums, providing proactive inputs and positions to shape the industry's taxation landscape.
- Contribute to the group finance team by providing leadership and promoting team participation.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in international taxation, including direct and indirect taxation.
- Exposure to international manufacturing businesses operating in multiple taxation jurisdictions.
- Practical experience in transfer pricing in international businesses, with a focus on commodity supply and trading.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Language skills are an advantage.
