IT Operations Manager for Finance and Technology

As a seasoned IT professional, you have the unique opportunity to take on the role of an IT Operations Manager for Finance and Technology at Talent Solution. Based in Baden, Switzerland, this position offers a challenging and dynamic environment where you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our SAP FI-CO system, ensuring business continuity and system stability.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience with SAP FI-CO, including hands-on experience with both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. You will play a key role in managing our current SAP ECC system for our Swiss business unit, overseeing the transition to SAP S/4HANA, and continuing to lead operations under the new platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operations Management: Oversee and manage daily operations of the SAP FI-CO system, ensuring business continuity and system stability.
  • Technical Support: Partner closely with our Finance business teams in Switzerland, supporting their day-to-day requirements, ad-hoc queries, and issues within the SAP FI-CO module. Collaborate with functional consultants to develop system enhancements requested by the users. Translate business needs into technical requirements and provide technical consulting.
  • SAP S/4HANA Transition: Actively support the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless migration.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support and operations management for the SAP S/4HANA environment post-transition, ensuring system performance and reliability.
  • Application Management (Non-SAP): Manage and support non-SAP finance applications, ensuring smooth operation. This includes tasks such as technical support, vendor management, and execution of IT General Controls (ITGC). Ensure alignment with network, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain robust application performance, compliance, and security.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage IS FI-CO-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget management, and alignment with business needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the point of contact for finance teams and collaborate with other IT and business departments to ensure successful delivery of operational and project goals. Foster close collaboration between Finance and IT.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, technical specifications, and interface designs. Create and update documentation for end-users and internal teams as needed.
