Sensory & Consumer Senior Scientist - Fragrance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Sensory & Consumer Senior Scientist to join our team at Coty, a leading beauty company. As a key member of our Consumer & Sensory Science team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our fragrances and skincare products meet the highest standards of quality and consumer delight.
Key Responsibilities- Support R&D and marketing teams in developing sensory performance measures and insights for Coty fragrance & skin care brands and competitors.
- Own the testing phase by executing sensory tests, developing protocols, preparing samples, designing tests, and creating sensory sessions.
- Own data reporting by analyzing data with statistical methods, writing reports, and communicating results to test requestors.
- Manage trained external panelists, including screening, selecting, monitoring performance, organizing training, and registering attendance.
- Own data analysis and reporting of the fragrance testing consumer program.
- Master's degree in Sensory and Consumer science, Biology, or Chemistry, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the cosmetics industry.
- Good statistical knowledge, proficiency with XLSTAT or similar tools.
- Excellent software skills, mainly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Analytical mindset with capacity to manage different activities simultaneously.
- Pro-active, self-motivated, and self-starter with strong ability to engage with a varied audience.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Experience with one of the standard Sensory packages (Compusense, Fizz, EyeQuestion).
