We are seeking a Managing Scientist for our Practice in various locations. Remote working is also an option. As part of a team, you will provide regulatory and technical expertise in Biocide Regulatory Affairs. You will assist in developing and implementing a regulatory strategy for new and existing active substances at community level and national, EU, and global basis. You will project manage complex multi-disciplinary regulatory projects and advise colleagues and clients on regulatory processes and legislation. You will contribute to the management and development of the Biocides Regulatory Team and the development of new business opportunities.

You will be responsible for conducting consultancy work in the biocides sector, including:

  • Supporting products in a regulatory setting
  • Preparing technical reports and dossiers
  • Managing project work programmes, including budget, communication, QA, and delivery
  • Representing clients at meetings with regulatory authorities or within industry consortia
  • Developing and implementing strategies for EU and global regulatory authorisations
  • Providing strategic regulatory advice

Contributing to the expansion of the biocides business, including:

  • Promoting activities to attract new business opportunities
  • Assisting with maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients
  • Contributing towards business development initiatives

You will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • BSc in a scientific discipline
  • Recognised as an expert in biocides
